The political developments in the Syrian crisis; the overall reactions and effects that followed during the seven years; and the internal, regional and international balances of forces, have destined the political solution to the Syrian crisis to be necessarily a consensual solution.

There are new indicators in international relations showing that the international situation, within the foreseeable future, is about to undergo major qualitative changes. The latest and most influential phenomenon is the recent escalating differences between the United States and its European allies on many files, including many basic common economic and political structures, which are the pillars of the Western capitalist center, and its instruments of hegemony.

A multi-polar world is rapidly being consolidated, leaving a tangible impact on the overall processes taking place in today's world. In this context, it is possible to speak of concrete daily facts in political, economic, military and technological fields in various regions of the world. It is normal for the region which has been termed "Middle East" – as the case used to be throughout history – to be one of the main frontlines in the conflict between the old and the new, and one of the areas in which the new international balance of forces are manifested.

The task of constitutional reform has been, and remains, a national task that imposes itself on the agenda in the context of working towards a comprehensive and consensual political solution in accordance with UN Security Council resolution 2254. Hence, the formation of the Constitutional Committee, according to the agreed outputs of Sochi Intra-Syrian National Conference, is absolutely necessary, as it is the guarantee of the desired process of change that is necessary to resolve all the tasks before the country, from ending the humanitarian catastrophe, up to the complete and ultimate eradication of terrorism.

The process of new international polarization between the rising powers and the declining powers is becoming evident day by day. The issue of USA withdrawal is getting deeper and deeper, from the Korean crisis and the China Sea up to the floundering in Iran's nuclear file.

At the dawn of today, Zionist Agressions were repeated again on  Syria – a sovereign country – in conjunction with the continued decline of the terrorist forces on the Syrian soil, and the approaching openness of the prospects for a comprehensive political solution.

The anniversary of the International Labor Day for this year coincides with an important juncture that our nation is passing through: A turning point for salvation from war and beginning of the real political solution sought by our great people – the solution which will ensure a radical and comprehensive national democratic change, which its achievement have been impeded by all beneficiaries from the continuation and perpetuation of the national crisis and catastrophe, and who keep pushing, by various means, toward despair of any possibility of salvation.

After repeated statements by the president of the united states, about the imminent withdrawal of US forces from Syria, there were frequent talk of the arrival of Arab and European forces, as alternative to US forces stationed in the north of Syria. Moreover, media reports indicated that French troops have already arrived to some locations.

About one week went by, since the failed Western aggression against Syria, but very soon thereafter things returned back on track, heading to the activation of the triad (Geneva, Astana, Sochi), which was an evident matter at Lavrov's meeting with De Mistura on April 20.
