The US President and the Prime Minister of the Zionist entity announced today, Tuesday, January 28, additional (but not finalized) details of what they call “the Deal of the Century”. This so-called “Deal” included – as expected and revealed in many previous leaks by US, Zionist, and Arab officials – several points that blatantly contradict all international resolutions relevant to the Palestinian cause, and all the rights of the Palestinian people – mainly, their right to an independent state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital, as well as the right of return (of Palestinian refugees).

Kassioun's previous editorial entitled "Higher Escalation for Faster Withdrawal", saw in the assassination of Soleimani an American act aimed at preparing the ground for a faster withdrawal from the region, covered with a torrent of escalation. Despite everything that is said about the man, what his enemies, before his allies, do not deny is the fact of his important role in combating terrorism in the region, from Al Qaeda to ISIS. Nor do they deny his standing in the anti-American and anti-Zionist ranks of the various regional fields.
In 2011, Syria entered a major historical crossroad, and on the doorsteps of 2020, it stands exactly at the end of that crossroad...

It has become possible, to a considerable extent, to deal with the exchange rate of the Syrian pound not only as an economic indicator but also political in essence. Although in the past few days have witnessed what appears to be fragile stability at a new rate of exchange around 850 Syrian pounds per dollar, but the experience and the political situation itself confirm that this stability is only an anchor of a new platform for further deterioration, assuming the political situation continues to be in the same current catastrophic state.
The UN Special Envoy for Syria, Mr. Geir O. Pedersen, during his participation in the 14th round of the Astana discussions Today (Tuesday, December 10, 2019), considered that the final decision whether or not to transfer the sessions of the Syrian Constitutional Committee to Damascus “belongs to the Syrians themselves”.
