The official Syrian news agency SANA, quoted Syrian Presidency Facebook page saying on May 27, 2016, that «any draft constitution of any type was not presented to the Syrian Arab Republic.

 A delegation of the Leadership of the People’s Will Party has returned this evening from Beirut, finishing a one-day visit to the leadership of the Lebanese Communist Party.

 The People’s Will Party condemns the coward terrorist attacks that targeted the civilians this morning in the coastal cities of Jableh and Tartus, North West of Syria.

Under an invitation by the Embassy of South Africa in Damascus, a delegation of the leadership of the People’s Will Party met earlier today (May 19, 2016) with Ms. Nomaindia Mfeketo, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, and the accompanying delegation, who are visiting Syria currently as part of regional tour, that has started in Jordan and will end in Lebanon.

PWP Secretary, and Co-Chairman of Secular Democratic Delegation to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Dr. Kadri Jamil, held a press conference at Ria Novosti news agency in Moscow, on May 19, 2016. The conference tackled the recent Syrian developments and the evolution of the political solution of the Syrian crisis along Geneva track, particularly in the wake of the recent Vienna ISSG meeting, to which he was invited on formal basis. Dr. Jamil made the following initial presentation during the conference, before taking questions by the journalists:

The Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation for Middle Eat and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Michael Bogdanov, discussed in details with Dr. Kadri Jamil, the Co-chairman of Moscow-Istana  Platforms to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Secretary of People’s Will Syrian Opposition Party, the current stage of the Syrian peace process in Geneva, under UN supervision, with laying emphasis on the need to add  a thorough,  consistent and fruitful nature over it, in accordance with the UNSCR  2254.

 The International Syria Support Group (ISSG) will most likely make concrete decisions on the composition of the Syrian transitional governing body at the upcoming meeting in Vienna on Tuesday, a source at Syrian peace talks told Sputnik on Sunday.

 At 17:30, Vienna local time, the meeting concluded between the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavarov, and the co-chairs of Moscow-Istana delegation to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Kadri Jamil and Randa Kasis, and Khaled Issa, the representative of the Democratic Party, that is still excluded from these talks, so far. 

 Member of Moscow-Cairo delegation for Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Kadri Jamil, said, May 16, 2016, that the group is to discuss accelerating these talks in their meeting later today in Vienna with the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavarov, at the eve of tomorrow’s ISSG meeting.

For the third month running, the food, medicines, and basic living stuff are being prevented access to Al-Waer neighborhood in Homs city in central Syria.
