Kassioun Editorial 1231: The Fireball is Rolling, and the Result is Known!
The well-known objective law continues to operate: War is the iron lung through which capitalism breathes, and the deeper its crises become, the more it expands the scope of war. In today’s world, after the Western center lost the vast majority of real production processes and retains the dollar financial center and dominance of international institutions due to the inertia of the past, war has become its sole and most important tool. The entirety of the Western center has become an iron lung of war, with nothing left to offer the planet but wars, destruction, and sanctions.
This applies to the war waged by “Israel” with American support against Iran, which the Americans directly joined on the morning of Sunday, June 22, 2025.
From a geopolitical perspective, the war America is waging is not solely against Iran, its nuclear project, or anything else described in Western media. It is, in essence, a war against rising continental powers, against the decisive shift in the international balance of power, and against impending internal explosions in Western centers. This is a natural consequence of the astronomical gap between consumption levels and actual contribution to real production on a global scale.
From a geopolitical perspective too, what the US and “Israel” seek is the total fragmentation and weakening of the entire Middle East, with all its countries and regimes, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt, in the hope of disrupting the international balance of power, thus allowing the rest of the region and the world to be wiped out.
Since this is widely understood by the countries, their regimes, and their peoples, a broad global wave is forming to condemn Western war makers. This wave has included all Arab countries, Turkey, and Pakistan, as well as countries in Latin America and Africa, China and Russia, and even a large portion of the Iranian opposition inside and outside Iran, within a global alignment that makes the countries of the “Global South” appear closer to each other more than ever before.
As for the declared goals set by the “Israelis” and Americans, none of them are practically achievable, opening the door to even more dangerous possibilities than anything that has occurred so far. At the very least, it opens the door to protracted attrition battles, so that announcement of the final results is postponed.
However, no matter how dangerous the situation, the ultimate victor and ultimate loser are not determined by a single battle here or there, nor even by the war as a whole with its purely military dimension. What determines the victor and the loser is the extent to which the war’s political objectives are achieved. Whoever achieves their objectives wins, and whoever does not is defeated.
According to the assessments of “Israeli” and American experts themselves, the two proposed goals – ending the nuclear program and toppling the Iranian regime – have become more distant after ten days of war, especially because the external aggression has united the internal ranks, not to mention the declared and undeclared political and military aid sent by the countries of the opposing axis, which have no interest in an American/”Israeli” victory.
The fireball is rolling and growing in intensity, embodying the organic role of “Israel” in our region, and that of the US in the world. The battle, with its various dimensions, may extend in time, but its outcome is already known: “Israel” and the US are doomed to defeat, while the peoples of our region and the world are destined to victory.
