Kassioun Editorial 1230: Statement by the People’s Will Party’s Central Council on the “Israeli” Aggression Against Iran

On Friday, June 13, 2025, and with blatant American complicity, “Israel” launched an unprecedented, large-scale aggression against Iran, despite ongoing negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file. Numerous countries around the world and in our region condemned this aggression, most notably the clear and justified condemnations issued by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt, along with condemnations from all Arab countries.

Understanding the dimensions of this aggression, its objectives, and its effects on our country requires placing it in its full regional and international context:

First: The general direction of the new international balance remains steady and on the rise: a comprehensive American / Western decline, contrasted with the continued rise of China, Russia, and various regional powers around the world, including India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Brazil, and others. The most important indicator of this trend is the economic one (including Trump’s failed trade war), in addition to political and military indicators in various regions of the world, including Ukraine.

Second: Capitalism’s deep crises are expressing themselves in two simultaneous ways: the first is the increase in internal divisions within the capitalist elite (which has begun to express itself in various forms, including the escalating unrest within America and within the Zionist entity itself), and the second is the rise in the level of aggression, considering wars as the iron lungs through which capitalism breathes.

Third: In light of the balance of nuclear fear, the American center resorts to igniting small and medium-sized wars, hoping that their combined effects will lead to the impossible outcome of an all-out war. The advantage of these wars is that they are protracted, where they start but do not have an end date, because they have not been able to resolve the decline crisis, but rather have deepened it, and backing out of these wars has become a harbinger of the end of the old world and the birth of the new.

Fourth: This applies to the Zionist entity, which has been in a state of endless, continuous warfare for two years, and it is no longer able to achieve its goals in any war it launches, and thus is no longer able to terminate any of them.

Fifth: Washington, along with “Israel”, is attempting to reverse historical developments by attempting to reshape our region as a focal point for the fundamental projects of rising continental and regional powers, most notably Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, and Iran itself.

Sixth: The “Israeli”-American goal is, in essence, to prevent a new Middle East that has already begun to take shape through a series of settlements among Turkey, Iran, and major Arab countries, and towards a new regional balance in which the weight of “Israel” and the West as a whole is reduced.

Seventh: Despite all the “Israeli” intimidation, it is doomed to retreat and defeat until the injustice against Gaza and the Palestinian people is lifted, and the Palestinian state is established, something that is closer than ever.

Finally: The Zionist entity is organically, structurally, and functionally hostile to Syria and the Syrian people. This is unchangeable, regardless of the policies Syria pursues. The goal was and remains to end Syria as a geopolitical entity, a goal the Syrian people will not allow, no matter the cost.
