Do We Need to Destroy the “Family Institution”?

For quite some time now, throughout the world, the discourse against the family as an institution has been on the rise. Often, the discourse is based on realistic problems within this institution, but it goes far towards very extreme and dangerous proposals, which unintentionally by many feeds into the pot of the “global elite” that sets before it a primary goal of disintegrating society to its last unit, to end any possibilities of having resistance against it.

The Golan was and remains one of the most important issues for Syrians. Just as it is an integral part of Syria’s geography and sovereignty, it has also become an integral part of the solution to the Syrian crisis and of the region’s future. “Israel” along with the US are well aware of this, which can explain the historical development of their approach to the Golan issue, which we will review herein.

By the end of 2021, the average cost of living for a Syrian family has reached more than 2 million Syrian pounds. This increases the huge gap between these costs and the minimum wage of the Syrian worker, which "increased" according to the last decree to reach 92,970 Syrian pounds; inadequate to meet the monthly food cost of the worker himself!

Talk in the media and politically about the US withdrawing its forces from certain parts of the world, particularly our own and Central Asia, has been noticeably on the rise for a little over three years.

Kazakhstan and Its Consequences: A Preliminary Approach

Electricity; A New Partial Privatization about to Be Completed.

The general orientation of the government towards the privatization of public sectors has become clear during the last decade, directly and indirectly, including important and sovereign sectors. The models of privatization of many establishments have also increased in recent years to take an abrupt form in 2021. That was through affecting the hall of Syrian Trading, the last of which were electricity and industry sectors, under pretexts that the government contrives and supports with its unprecedented resolutions. This is all to serve the interests of the plunderers who are plundering citizens and national economy, and the worst is yet to come!

Indications of Western action and pressure continue to emerge within the so-called “regime behavior change” policy. While previous Kassioun articles have focused on the general objectives of this policy, it has become useful, with the clarity of additional parts of the picture, to try to go into more details of this policy and its mechanisms, not just its final objectives.

A Deal and a “New Resolution”… Get Wisdom from the “Quagmire Man”!

On its face, US policy towards Syria seems to be a source of confusion for many – individuals, forces, and countries. Some, including current and former US officials, even go further in adopting the deception as a doctrine by saying that Washington has no specific policy or no policy at all towards Syria except for a few general points that are part of larger dossiers related to the Middle East as a whole.

Nearly six months after their first summit, which took place in Geneva in mid-June, presidents Putin and Biden held their second summit last week, this time virtually. Although the last summit was preceded by a great amount of prediction and analysis, the hype around this meeting, before and after, also was quite high, making it essential to take a closer look at what transpired in order to get a clearer picture of the stage the conflict has reached in general, and to understand what should be focused on in working in the context of the crises facing our region and Syria in particular.

During the last few months, there has been increasing talk about what is being called “normalization with the regime”. What is meant by that is the rapprochement of Arab regimes with the Syrian regime, and in particular: Jordan and UAE.
