A statement by the «People-want Party» leadership
The city of Damascus has witnessed today a terrorist bombing, in the area between «Al Sabe Bahrat» and «Al Shahbander», leading to the fall of 15 martyrs and dozens of casualties, according to the initial reports.
As it condemns this terrorist bombing, extends its condolences to the families of victims and to the Syrian people as a whole, wishing speedy recoveryof those wounded, the «People-want Party» considers that these terrorist ways are the same as those thatwerepracticed in most of the countries that the outside powers interfered in their internal crises, since the announcement of the so-called “War against Terrorism” in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon and elsewhere.
Regardless of the perpetrators and accomplices, the moving and blind death in Syria aims - among other things -to block the way before the political solution and to shuffle the cards so that those the plotter forces be capable of controlling the evolution of the situations in the country in accordance with their schemes of feebling Syria's state and society to reach the point of partition and fragmentation.
Hence, thesanctity ofthe Syrianbloodand the higher national interests entail that the national forces should- as their main task- further press to accelerate theseriousnational dialogue as an onlytoolfor the realization of the political solution that should lead to the national reconciliation, and ultimately stopping all forms of violence.
