Greeting of PWP to LCP on 11th Conference Conclusion

The People’s Will Party of Syria sent the following greeting message to the Lebanese Communist Party on the conclusion of the deliberations of its 11th General Conference, held in Beirut, 22-24 of April 2016.

The People’s Will Party extends to you comradely greetings and congratulations on the conclusion of the deliberations of your 11th Conference,  wishing the newly elected leadership every success in raising to the huge responsibilities imposed by the Lebanese, regional and international developments, especially the need for addressing the deteriorating living standards of the Lebanese People, and correcting the separation lines in Lebanon on political and class bases, away from the logic of sectarian quotas  and the corruption of the business, political and sectarian elites, in general.

As it introduces its greetings to the previous LCP leadership and its Secretary-General, Dr. Khaled Hdadeh, the PWP expresses its hope that the new youth blood that joined the leading structures of your Party, will be capable of strengthening its role in the Lebanese political life, for the benefit of Lebanon’s poor, on one hand, and its national and revolutionary forces, serving ultimately the interests of the true radical left-wing and communist forces, the world over.

We are looking towards further consolidating the historical relations between our twin parties , particularly in relation to pushing forward the political solution of the Syrian crisis, according to Geneva track, leading to stopping bloodshed in Syria as protecting its unity and territorial integrity, reuniting the Syrians in their fight against, and eradication of, the neo-fascist terrorism, realizing the comprehensive, deep and radical change the Syrians deserve, and providing the necessary conditions for them to move towards liberating their occupied and usurped lands, the Golan Heights occupied by the Zionist entity, in particular.
