In order not to Destroy Syrian Houses Twice..!

The common aspects of the different projects that have been introduced so far can be summed up as follows:

- Funding the reconstruction process depends on external, particularly Western source, loans and investments.

- The reconstruction is carried out by «foreign companies», representing Western and Gulf region capitals and  countries, besides Syrian personalities and forces , covering under the names of these companies.

- The Syrian State apparatus, including the Public Sector, plays a neutral and marginal role within the process, merely as a job- facilitator for these «reconstruction companies». This would include introducing laws, in service of these corporations, and against the interests of the Syrian people, including the workers in particular.

In conclusion, the logic and details of these projects are not different from those previously fulfilled in Lebanon, Iraq or Afghanistan, that in addition to the fact that they did not reconstruct a thing, they, economically speaking, accumulated new great wealth in the hands of few local thieves, while accumulating huge debts on the given state. Politically speaking, these projects only yielded failure states , governed by a system of political, sectarian, tribal, and ethnic quota division among a bunch of gigantic burglars, in comparison with impoverished people.

The increasing Syrian Pound destruction processes, throughout the previous months, have surpassed every economic limit related to the retreat of Syrian GDP. Nobody can say now that the ongoing Syrian war lies behind the fall of the Syrian Pound. It has become increasingly clear that these operations are deliberately perpetrated by major local corruption forces and powerful circles, with the aim of rearranging and preparing the Syrian economic environment  to fit reconstruction processes mannered by the corruption forces and their international partners. These processes in essence are unpatriotic, and even hostile to the Syrian people and their future State.

Projects of such type would be capable of destroying the houses of the Syrians for the second time. The war destroyed them once, the other would take place under their reconstruction pretext, meaning that the crisis will be reproduced at higher and more dangerous levels, later on.

These realities makes sorting out a Syrian national reconstruction model a top-priority task. Such a model should mainly depend in funding on stopping, seizing and restoring the funds that are previously stolen and illegally accumulated by major corruption forces, and turning these funds for reconstruction. It also should depend on the maximum reduction of profits, for the benefit of wages, through establishing the active and pivotal role of the State, with a strict orientation towards real production sectors, especially first- stage food production, besides getting the utmost  benefit of the new international relation system, through benefiting from the «Economic East» that is making major and significant breaks with the plundering system of the West.

The current international situation characterized by the retreat of the West that previously modeled and ran the failed reconstruction process, by the advance of BRICS group, and the rise of the world popular movement, are all factors that are introducing prospects for the creation of a Syrian new reconstruction model, that would lead the new economic models for the so-called Third World countries, in line with the new international situation, exactly as the Syrian political solution would introduce to the new world a crisis solving  model.
