PWP meets with PDPKS

A friendly meeting was held, Tuesday, May 31, 2016, in Qamishly, to the North of Syria, between a delegation of the People’s Will Party and the leadership of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party of Syria (PDPKS), headed by Secretary General, Abdul Hamid Haj Darwish, on the occasion of his return to the Syrian homeland.

In order not to Destroy Syrian Houses Twice..!

For more than a year now, different «foreign» and «domestic» projects for reconstructing Syria are increasingly surfacing. What’s new, however, is that talking about these projects attained very recently higher paces, coinciding with the speeding up of Syrian Pound destruction processes. This does not only indicate the linkage between the two issues, rather it highlights the fact that the different parties of the Syrian conflict are becoming totally convinced that the political solution is advancing to its end, and more probably within its time schedule.

The official Syrian news agency SANA, quoted Syrian Presidency Facebook page saying on May 27, 2016, that «any draft constitution of any type was not presented to the Syrian Arab Republic.

PWP meets with Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa

Under an invitation by the Embassy of South Africa in Damascus, a delegation of the leadership of the People’s Will Party met earlier today (May 19, 2016) with Ms. Nomaindia Mfeketo, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, and the accompanying delegation, who are visiting Syria currently as part of regional tour, that has started in Jordan and will end in Lebanon.

Jamil warns against attempts to wasting time of 2254 six month period

PWP Secretary, and Co-Chairman of Secular Democratic Delegation to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Dr. Kadri Jamil, held a press conference at Ria Novosti news agency in Moscow, on May 19, 2016. The conference tackled the recent Syrian developments and the evolution of the political solution of the Syrian crisis along Geneva track, particularly in the wake of the recent Vienna ISSG meeting, to which he was invited on formal basis. Dr. Jamil made the following initial presentation during the conference, before taking questions by the journalists:

The Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation for Middle Eat and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Michael Bogdanov, discussed in details with Dr. Kadri Jamil, the Co-chairman of Moscow-Istana  Platforms to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Secretary of People’s Will Syrian Opposition Party, the current stage of the Syrian peace process in Geneva, under UN supervision, with laying emphasis on the need to add  a thorough,  consistent and fruitful nature over it, in accordance with the UNSCR  2254.
