Press Release by the Russian Foreign Ministery on the Meeting of Bogdanov and Jamil

On November 6, 2019, Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia received the representative of the leadership of the Syrian opposition Front for Change and Liberation, Head of Moscow Platform of Syrian opposition, Kadri Jamil.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the initiated work of the Syrian Constitutional Committee which has been jointly begun between the Syrians. They expressed their shared comfort about the transition to the practical level of the political solution in Syria, in accordance with the decisions of the Conference of the Syrian National Dialogue in Sochi, and the provisions of UNSCR 2254.
