Bogdanov – Jamil: Towards Accelerating the Formation of the Constitutional Committee

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Bogdanov, met today with the representative of the leadership of the Change and Liberation Front and Head of the Moscow Platform of the Syrian Opposition Dr. Kadri Jamil.

The Russian Foreign Ministry reported in a statement today that the meeting discussed in detail the efforts to promote political settlement in Syria, focusing on the task of urgently forming the Constitutional Committee and launching its work in Geneva in accordance with the decisions of the Syrian National Dialogue Conference in Sochi and the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
