Jamil warns against attempts to wasting time of 2254 six month period

PWP Secretary, and Co-Chairman of Secular Democratic Delegation to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Dr. Kadri Jamil, held a press conference at Ria Novosti news agency in Moscow, on May 19, 2016. The conference tackled the recent Syrian developments and the evolution of the political solution of the Syrian crisis along Geneva track, particularly in the wake of the recent Vienna ISSG meeting, to which he was invited on formal basis. Dr. Jamil made the following initial presentation during the conference, before taking questions by the journalists:

The Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation for Middle Eat and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Michael Bogdanov, discussed in details with Dr. Kadri Jamil, the Co-chairman of Moscow-Istana  Platforms to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Secretary of People’s Will Syrian Opposition Party, the current stage of the Syrian peace process in Geneva, under UN supervision, with laying emphasis on the need to add  a thorough,  consistent and fruitful nature over it, in accordance with the UNSCR  2254.

Lavarov’s Meeting with Syrian opposition representatives focuses on «Geneva» resumption

 At 17:30, Vienna local time, the meeting concluded between the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavarov, and the co-chairs of Moscow-Istana delegation to Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks, Kadri Jamil and Randa Kasis, and Khaled Issa, the representative of the Democratic Party, that is still excluded from these talks, so far.

Russian Foreign Ministry said in statement, Friday, April 29, 2016, that the Special Envoy of the Russian President for Middle East and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister,  Michael Bogdanov, has received in Moscow, Kadri Jamil, Secretary of the People’s Will Party of Syria, Member of the Leadership of Syrian opposition Change and Liberation Front.

Jamil: "suspension of HNC participation won't lead to disruption of Syria talks"

"The suspension of the participation of the High Negotiations Committee (HNC) in the intra-Syrian negotiations in Geneva will not lead to their disruption", Co-chairman of "Moscow-Istana" Platforms of Syrian opposition, and the Secretary of the People's Will Party, Dr. Kadri Jamil, told "TASS" agency on 18/4/2016.

 

Jamil stresses ceasefire applies to Aleppo too

The ceasefire in Syria will apply not only to Damascus and Latakia but also to Aleppo, one of the leaders of the Syrian opposition Change and Liberation Front, representative of the opposition "Moscow platform" (part of the Moscow-Cairo group) Kadri Jamil said on Friday, 29.04.2016.

Jamil: "US should provide HNC with pen and paper for talks, not weapons"

"The United States should provide the oppositional High Negotiations Committee (HNC, formed in Riyadh) not with weapons but with pens and paper for taking part in the negotiations, which remain the sole way of settling the situation in Syria", a Secretary of the People's Will Party, (participating in the negotiations within Moscow-Cairo platforms), Dr. Kadri Jamil told "TASS" Agency in an exclusive interview, on 20/4/2016.
